Not only have I discovered over the past few days that my Mum sailed to Norway from Newcastle in 1968 on the same boat I made the crossing to Sweeden on in 1999, but that her organic chemistry textbook for uni was written in part by non other than DJ Cram, one of the unholy triumvirate of supramolecular chemists.
