...stirrings....
Wow, what a hiatus! Just thought I'd better confirm to you all that I still haven't passed beyond the veil - that would be spooky if I had - and a lot has happened in the past month or so, so I'll do a quick rundown just to keep you up to date.
Got some bioresults on my project, at last, now just need some more. But it is looking slightly better than it has been.
Pretending to be James Toseland going around Kent, tremendous grin-worthy fun right up to the moment I panicked on a blind corner on some loose gravel and snatched my front end. This is not a clever idea, but it goes to show my brakes were in good nick! Result: a lowsider and a rather trashed bike. I have a lot of stored invective for the insurance people, I'm back on foot and it's all annoying. On the plus side, I came off very lightly, though have ripped a pair of gloves to shreds and obviously ruined by nice helmet (couple of hundred quid I wont see again in a hurry), so have nothing to complain about.
That's it really. Been reading a lot of new plays recently and getting a bit frustrated that I'll never get to do this kind of stuff because local drama groups have far less licence to be experimental and shocking. Have developed a mild fascination for the Bronte sisters in the meantime and will be reading some more of that....that's about it.
Oh yes, and Gwylion hit level 70, and I have my first almost-fledged raiding toon :-)
